BPExch glossary: every term, in English and the words players use

Forty-four terms from the exchange and from Pakistani betting talk, each defined in two sentences, with the page that explains it in depth.

Quick answer

Back = lagai (betting for), lay = khai (betting against, you pay the winner), bhav = the odds quoted as profit on 100, liability = the most a lay can lose, session = runs in a block of overs, TID = the transfer reference you send with a deposit. Release fee = a scam. Every other term is below.

Terms are grouped alphabetically. Where a Pakistani or Hindustani slang word is in daily use (lagai, khai, bhav, lambi), it sits beside the exchange term it means, because the desk hears both every evening and so will you.

A–C

Account (BPExch account)
Everything behind your login: the PKR wallet, statement, open bets, limits and settings. Issued by a desk or dealer; the platform has no public sign-up form. See the BPExch account page.
Back / Lagai lagana, lagai
A bet that an outcome will happen, placed against a price someone else is offering. The blue column on the ladder. Win: stake × (odds − 1). Lose: the stake.
Balance vs exposure
Balance is the money in the wallet; exposure is the part of it currently held against open bets. Available balance = balance − exposure.
Bhav / Rate bhav
Pakistani market talk for the odds. Often quoted as the profit on 100: "85" means decimal 1.85, "150" means 2.50. The odds calculator converts both ways.
Book / Green book book banana
Your net result on each possible outcome of a market. A green book shows profit whichever side wins, usually built by backing then laying at a shorter price. See liability and green book explained.
BetPro / BetPro Exchange
The earlier name of the same platform. Old BetPro IDs still sign in; nothing moved. See BPExch vs BetPro.
Cash out / Trade out
Closing an open position early by placing the opposite bet, so your result no longer depends on the final outcome. On an exchange you do it yourself; it is not a button a bookmaker prices for you.
Commission
A small percentage of your net winnings in a market, charged only when you win that market. Never on deposits, withdrawals, stakes or losing markets. See commission explained.
CNIC
Pakistan's national identity card. Not required to open an account here, and never to be sent to anyone who says they need it to "activate" an ID.

D–L

Dealer
The tier that issues user accounts, sets their limits and earns a commission share on their turnover. Runs on a working float (this desk publishes Rs 25,000). See account types.
Demo account / Demo ID
On this platform there is no play-money demo; the honest equivalent is a real account tested at zero balance. Shared "demo passwords" circulating on Telegram are a scam vector. See demo account.
Easypaisa / JazzCash
Pakistan's two mobile wallets, the main deposit and payout rails here. Rs 500 minimum in, Rs 1,000 minimum out. See Easypaisa vs JazzCash.
Fancy
Any market other than match odds: sessions, player runs, fall of wicket, odd/even, boundaries. Settled on official scorecard data.
Float
The working balance a dealer, master or super master keeps on the platform to settle their players. Not a fee; it remains theirs.
IBFT / Raast
Pakistan's interbank transfer (IBFT) and the State Bank's instant-payment rail (Raast). Both accepted for deposits; Raast usually reflects fastest.
ID (BPExch ID)
Simply the username of your account. ID and account are one thing with two names; anyone selling them separately is selling you the same thing twice. See BPExch ID.
In-play
Betting while the match is live. Prices move ball by ball; markets suspend briefly at wickets and boundaries.
Khado / Khada khado
Slang for a run bracket in a session market: you back the total landing inside a stated range.
Lambi lambi
The full-innings runs line, as opposed to a six- or ten-over session.
Lay / Khai khana, khai
A bet that an outcome will not happen; you take the backer's stake and promise to pay their winnings if it does. The pink column. Your risk is the liability.
Liability
The most you can lose on a lay bet: backer's stake × (odds − 1). Held from your balance while the bet is open. Lay Rs 1,000 at 3.0 and the liability is Rs 2,000.
Line (session line)
The runs figure a session is priced around, with a Yes price above it and a No price below. Per-point stakes settle on the distance from the line.
Login link / Login address
The platform's current sign-in web address. It rotates; the genuine one comes from your desk, never from a search result or forwarded screenshot. See login link.

M–S

Master / Super master
The tiers above dealer. A master issues dealers; a super master issues masters. Floats published here: Rs 100,000 and Rs 500,000. A "master" offered for a few thousand rupees is a dealer with a grander title.
Match odds
The main market: who wins the match. Deepest liquidity, tightest spread, the first market a newcomer should learn.
Matched / Unmatched
A bet is matched when someone takes the other side at your price; until then it sits unmatched and can be cancelled. Unmatched money is not at risk.
Odds ladder
The grid of back (blue) and lay (pink) prices with the money waiting at each. Reading it is the whole skill; see how BPExch works.
OTP
A one-time code sent to your phone by your wallet or bank. The desk never asks for it. Anyone who does is stealing from your wallet, not opening an account.
Panel
Dealer-speak for the account management screen where IDs are created and limits set. Players do not need one.
Release fee / Withdrawal tax / Processing charge
Invented charges demanded before a payout is "released". There is no such fee on the platform or at any honest desk; it is the most common scam in the niche. See the release-fee scam.
Same-wallet rule
Withdrawals go back to the wallet or bank account the deposits came from. It stops a stolen login from draining a balance to a stranger's number.
Session
A market on runs scored in a block of overs (6, 10, 15, 20). The South Asian market layer that confuses every newcomer. See session betting explained.
Settlement
The moment a market's result is final and wins, losses and commission are posted to the statement. Fancy markets settle on official scorecard data; rain and DLS rules apply.
Statement
The ledger of every rupee that moved: deposits, bet settlements, withdrawals, commission. Four line types; see reading your statement.
Suspended
A market briefly closed to new bets, usually at a wicket, boundary or review. Normal; not an error.

T–Z

TID (Transaction ID)
The reference number your wallet or bank prints for a transfer. It is the single string that ties your deposit to your account; send it with every deposit message. See deposit not credited.
Toss market
A fancy market on who wins the toss. Settled minutes after it happens; popular, thin, and a favourite for scammers' "fixed toss" pitches.
Trading out
See cash out: placing the opposite bet to lock a profit or cap a loss before the market settles.
User (user account)
The standard player tier: you bet, deposit and withdraw. Everything on this site is written for users unless a page says otherwise.
Void
A bet cancelled with the stake returned, for example when a match is abandoned before a market's conditions are met.
Yes / No (Haan / Na) haan, na
The two sides of a session line: Yes backs the runs going over the line, No backs under. The session equivalent of back and lay.
Zero-balance test
Signing in to a new account before any money is sent, to prove the ID works and is yours. The single habit that prevents most week-one problems; see demo account.

Why the slang matters

Most arguments between players and dealers are vocabulary arguments. A player who says "maine 2,000 khaya" means they laid Rs 2,000, and their liability was more than Rs 2,000. A dealer quoting "bhav 85" means 1.85, not 85.0. Learn the eight or nine words above that have two names and the statement stops surprising you. The how BPExch works page shows the terms in motion over one PSL over.

Questions we get asked about this

Lagai aur khai ka matlab kya hai?

Lagai (back) ka matlab hai aap keh rahe hain ke yeh team jeetegi. Khai (lay) ka matlab hai aap keh rahe hain ke yeh team nahi jeetegi, aur agar jeet gayi to aap doosre ki jeet ada karte hain. Lagai neele column mein, khai gulabi column mein.

What does bhav mean on BPExch?

Bhav is the odds. In Pakistani shorthand it is quoted as the profit on a 100 stake: bhav 85 is decimal 1.85, bhav 150 is 2.50. The platform itself shows decimal prices.

What is liability in simple words?

The most you can lose on a lay bet: the backer's stake multiplied by (odds minus one). It is held from your balance while the bet is open and returned if the lay wins.

What is a session in cricket betting?

A market on the runs scored in a block of overs, priced around a line with a Yes side (over) and a No side (under). Settled from the official scorecard once that block is complete.

Is a release fee a real BPExch charge?

No. There is no fee to release, unlock or process a withdrawal on the platform or at any honest desk. A dealer asking for one is running the niche's most common scam.
