How do I reset my BPExch password?
- Message the desk from the number on the account with your username and “password reset”.
- Receive a new starter password. The desk sets it inside the platform; it never needs your old one.
- Sign in on the desk's address and change the starter password immediately in account settings.
- Check the statement once, to confirm nothing happened while you were locked out.
Forgotten or locked? They are different
A lock happens after several wrong attempts and clears by itself in about 15–30 minutes; the correct password works again afterwards. A forgotten password needs a reset by the desk. If you are not sure which, wait 30 minutes and try once; if it still fails, ask for the reset.
Why only from the number on the account?
Because the number is the only proof the desk has that the request is yours. A reset requested from a new number is refused until you confirm from the old one. If you have changed your number, tell the desk from the old number before it stops working.
Choosing the next password
- Not reused from your wallet, email or any other site.
- Not your phone number, username or year of birth.
- Written down offline, not saved in a group chat.
- Never shared with anyone, including the desk. The desk does not need it.
A reset is free. Anyone asking for a fee, an OTP or a wallet PIN to “unlock” an account is not your desk and is after your wallet, not your login.
If my dealer has vanished
